Coronavirus suspicion: 30 families quarantined in Dinajpur
At least 150 people of 30 families have been home-quarantined after a man died with symptoms similar to that of Covid-19 infection in Birampur upazila of Dinajpur early today.
The 30-year-old man from Tofshi village under the upazila died around 2:30am at his home, our Dinajpur correspondent reports quoting Abdul Razzak, chairman of Jotbani Union Parishad.
According to family members, the man had fever, cough and breathing difficulties, Abdul Kuddus, civil surgeon (CS) of Dinajpur, said.

He will be buried after sample collection, he added.
Thirty families of Tofshi village have been quarantined at their homes after the death, Md Tauhidur Rahman, upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) of Birampur upazila, told the correspondent.
The local administration will provide them food support, he added.
Chairman Abdul Razzak said the man was working as a day labourer in Kushtia.
He came home on March 12 with fever and cough, he said.
Later on, he developed breathing complication, the chairman said.
