Sunamganj sub-registrar dies of Covid-19

Sunamganj's Sub-Registrar Md Zafar Ahmed died of Covid-19 today.

He breathed his last at Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 5:00am, said a law ministry press release.

Law Minister Anisul Huq has expressed deep shock at the death of Zafar Ahmed and prayed for salvation and eternal peace of his departed soul.

He also expressed sympathies for his bereaved family members.

Law Secretary Md Golam Sarwar and Inspector General of Registration Shahidul Alam Jhinuk also expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Zafar.

Zafar, who was from Pirojpur's Dasmina, left behind his wife, two daughters and host of admirers to mourn his death, according to the press release.
