Last year, Imtiaz Barshon and Nipun Akter acted together for the first time. They were seen in the web film "Opolap" and their pairing was well-received by the audience. Nipun herself was mesmerised by Imtiaz Barshon's acting. In "Opolap", they were seen portraying a modern urban married couple. Nipun was depicted as falling in love with someone else while Barshon's character became a murder victim in the storyline — which captivated the audience.
Various individuals contribute perspectives to the murder investigation report, yet these journalists remain blindfolded. A reporter suggests the murder occurred at approximately 2:30am. The 40-minute long film will be screened at the Sammilito Sankskritik Jote's Victory Day celebration program titled, ‘Bijoy Utsab’ at the Central Shaheed Minar, on Wednesday, December 13, at 6 PM.
“Damal” director and the cast for the new web-film have been tight-lipped about “Omimagshito”. Albeit, Raihan Rafi did share that he is currently invested in a new project.
Centred on themes of suspicion, conflict and crime, "Opolap" portrays the tale of Arko, a psychiatrist, who is arrested for the murder of his wife Shumi.
Apart from acting, Barshon is also the member of the newly formed band, Halley’r Dhumketu. “We have a few songs including a Tagore rendition, which were released under the banner of G-series. We are working on our original numbers, which we plan to release soon.”
Popular actor Nipun Akter will be pairing up with actor Imtiaz Barshon for a web-film titled "Opolap", which will be directed by Mohammad Ali Munna. The shooting for the web-film is currently underway in various locations throughout Dhaka.
