Patient with respiratory problems dies at Suhrawardy Hospital
A man undergoing treatment at isolation ward of the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in Dhaka with respiratory problems died last night.
The 57-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with breathing problem around 2:30pm yesterday and died at the isolation ward around 7:30pm, hospital director Uttam Kumar Barua told The Daily Star.
He said the patient, who also had a stroke in 2017, tried to get admitted to several hospitals before he came the SSMCH.
Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) collected samples from the deceased's body for test last night, said the director.
