Preparing for your first pet dog

Puppies are insatiable floof monsters who'll try to destroy anything within grasp. Therefore, you have to make your living space safe for its arrival. Take a good look around your house, especially the room your puppy will be spending the most time in, and try to identify all the items it can bite, chew, or pull down. Be especially wary of things made of leather, faux leather and PVC (mostly bags and shoes) as teething puppies love to sink their teeth into anything soft and rubbery. Objects with sharp edges and breakables should be stowed away as far as possible.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is a Retelling of America's Current Cultural Climate

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is perhaps the most culturally significant movie of the last year. In the protagonist Mildred, director Martin McDonagh portrays a woman who's had enough of the town's corruption plaguing her life and decides to do something about it.

Tribute to a mother-daughter bond

I have a love-hate relationship with the coming-of-age genre. Blame it on excessive binges of John Hughes duds in the 90s (Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles), but I've grown weary of them.

Boishommo - When freedom of action goes awry

Social media is, without a doubt, deeply entrenched in every aspect of my life. I have a Facebook account to appease prying family members, while I take to Instagram to share the more risqué highlights of the day.

How to be Cool with Parents

For my mother, the day doesn't officially begin unless she's made a scathing remark about the “deplorable” (her words, not mine) state of my health. Her day begins at the breakfast table, where she urges me to exercise regularly to stay fit, meanwhile leaving monstrous helpings of paratha and egg omelet on my plate.
