On Thursday, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took to Twitter to announce his return to the "Fast & Furious" franchise in an upcoming film, yet to be titled. Johnson will reprise his role as Luke Hobbs, after stepping away from the successful franchise in 2021 due to conflicts with co-star Vin Diesel.
Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to release a black and white photo of Hobbs sporting a leather vest and pointy goatee.
Director DJ Caruso, who is helming the third piece of Diesel’s 2002 action flick “xXx”, confirms in a twitter chat with fans that Deepika will be seen in that project, titled “XXX: The return of Xander Cage”.

Vin Diesel has apparently figured out that sequels to established films are where it's at. As busy as Diesel's schedule is getting, that hasn't stopped him from adding a new project to his crowded slate – an adaptation of the 1970s TV show Kojak.
It's been in the works for a while, but the Fast & Furious franchise star's feature film remake of Telly Savalas' most famous project, “Kojak”, is still moving forward, and the big screen adaptation has hired a new screenwriter.
Last month, Vin Diesel took the stage at CinemaCon to announce that he and the folks at Universal Pictures are currently developing “Fast & Furious 8” to be released in April 2017.
Diesel and Walker starred in all seven films of the franchise together, and formed a close friendship. Paul Walker was killed in a car crash on November 2013 when the Porsche he was travelling in as a passenger hit a tree and caught fire.
The seventh instalment in the Fast and Furious franchise, which is slated to release in India on April 2, has received rave responses for its previous parts. But does Diesel really think that the film could be the next Birdman?
