Actor Vin Diesel has confirmed that "Fast and Furious 11" is scheduled for release in April 2027, adding that the upcoming instalment may feature the return of Brian O'Conner, the late Paul Walker's iconic character.

Speaking at Fuel Fest, a car enthusiast event held in Pomona, California, Diesel appeared alongside co-stars Tyrese Gibson and Cody Walker. Addressing a crowd of fans, he revealed key conditions he set for the final chapter of the action franchise.

"The studio said to me, 'Vin, can we please have the finale of "Fast and Furious" in April 2027?' I said, 'Under three conditions.' First, is to bring the franchise back to LA! The second thing was to return to the car culture, to street racing! The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O'Conner," said Diesel.

Although it remains unclear how Walker's character will appear in "Fast and Furious 11," speculation suggests the use of digital technology, as the actor passed away in 2013 following a car crash at the age of 40.

The most recent entry in the series, "Fast X", was released in May 2023 and earned over $700 million worldwide, despite a production budget of $340 million.

The film starred Vin Diesel, Alan Ritchson, Jason Momoa, Michelle Rodriguez, Rita Moreno, and Brie Larson. Marketed as the first of a two-part saga, it remains uncertain whether "Fast and Furious 11" will directly follow the events of "Fast X".
