এতে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শতাধিক শিক্ষার্থী আহত হয়েছেন। তাদের মধ্যে প্রায় ২০ শিক্ষার্থীকে চট্টগ্রাম মেডিকেলে স্থানান্তর করা হয়েছে। এই ঘটনায় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রোক্টরিয়াল বডির দুই শিক্ষক আহত হন।
