Zim delays put warm-up in doubt
Zimbabwe deferred their arrival for the second time and are now scheduled to reach Bangladesh in separate groups tomorrow, which puts their warm-up match against BCB XI on January 13 in doubt. The reason for the delay was unknown.
Zimbabwe were supposed to reach Bangladesh on January 10, but deferred their arrival by a day and were expected to land yesterday to take part in the ODI tri-series also involving hosts Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Graeme Cremer's side will face Bangladesh in the opening match of the series on January 15 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
Zimbabwe brought seven changes to the team that recently won their first ODI series against Sri Lanka 3-2. The big news in the squad is that stalwarts Brendan Taylor and Kyle Jarvis, who had retired from the international game, are back in the team for the tri-series.
