Ranaut starts preparing for Rangoon
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who will be soon seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's “Rangoon”, has already started preparing for her role in the movie.
The “Queen” actress is learning horse-riding for her role in the film and for this she is being trained by actor Jeetu Verma, who is usually seen essaying villainous characters in Hindi films.
“Rangoon”, a drama set in 1940, casts Kangana Ranaut as an actress, who is romantically involved with her mentor.
Kangana calls the movie a “passionate love story”, set in a turbulent period of Indian history. “It is a film which is set in the 1940s during the World War II. It is about three characters; one of them is a superstar and her mentor, who she is romantically involved with. Another one is a soldier. It is about INA, independence and so many other things. It is a very passionate love story,” Kangana said recently.
Besides “Rangoon”, the 28-year-old actress will star in “Rani Laxmibai” and “Simran”.
