Tk 603cr toll collected from Padma Bridge: Quader

Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today told parliament that Tk 603.76 crore toll has been collected from the Padma Bridge as of March since its inauguration on June 25, 2022.

The minister said this in reply to a query from ruling Awami League MP Benjir Ahmed from Dhaka-20 constituency.

In a scripted answer, Obaidul Quader also said since the launch of Bangabandhu Bridge on June 23, 1998, Tk 7697.71 crore has been collected as toll as of March.
