‘KGF’ star Dinesh Mangaluru passes away at 55

Veteran Kannada actor and art director Dinesh Mangaluru, best known for his performances in "KGF" and "Kantara", passed away at his Mangaluru residence on Monday (August 25) after a prolonged illness. He was 55.
A native of Mangaluru, Dinesh began his career in cinema as an art director, contributing to several acclaimed Kannada productions before successfully transitioning into acting. Known for his craftsmanship behind the scenes, he later earned recognition as a versatile character artiste on screen.

His breakthrough performance came with the role of Sitaram Shetty in "Aa Dinagalu". He went on to deliver notable performances in films such as "KGF", where he played the Bombay Don, further cementing his popularity.
Over the years, Dinesh appeared in a wide range of films, including "Inthi Ninna Preethiya", "Ricky", "Harikathe Alla Girikathe", "Ulidavaru Kandanthe", and "Slum Bala". His ability to bring depth and authenticity to supporting roles made him one of the most sought-after actors in Kannada cinema.
