Two ‘militants’ held at Dinajpur

Rapid Action Battalion detained two “militants” from Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur last night.

They were primarily identified as Selim, 26, and Khadimul, 27, Maj Armin Rabbi, deputy director of Rab-13, told The Daily Star.

“They are the members of the JMB's Sarwar-Tamim group,” said the Rab official.

Acting of a tip-off, a Rab team conducted a raid in Raniganj area and arrested them, said Maj Armin adding that details will be disclosed at a press conference in Rangpur later in the day.
