Live-action BioShock movie in works from Netflix
Netflix, 2K, and Take-Two Interactive announced on Tuesday that they will collaborate on a live-action BioShock film. According to Netflix's website, the film is based on the BioShock franchise but no details on the potential plot were revealed.
There is no release date set, and the film has yet to find a director or cast, reports Variety.
This is not the first time a BioShock big-screen adaptation was attempted. Universal Studios once had the rights to make a BioShock film and Gore Verbinski, the director of Pirates of the Caribbean films, was attached to the project. It was ultimately cancelled.
