Harashit leaves for Maldives

Bangladesh national volleyball team captain Harashit Biswash left for Maldives yesterday to play in the Maldives volleyball league. The outside striker will play for Goodies Sports Club in Maldives, where he will get to play in eight matches, with the league scheduled to finish on October 31.

Harashit will be the first Bangladeshi volleyball player to play in a foreign league. He was named the best outside striker of the Asian Challenge Cup in Sri Lanka last month where Bangladesh finished fourth.
