Feds asked to take prep
Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) yesterday instructed national federations to take proper preparation for the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Games, which is scheduled to be held from April 1 to 10.
BOA secretary general Syed Shahed Reza met representatives of 31 national federations that are supposed to take part in Games, which will be held after a six-year gap.
“We have talked to the general secretaries of national federations to discuss different aspects of the Games and asked them to take preparation for the Games” Reza said after the meeting.
“We plan to hold the opening and closing ceremonies gorgeously as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already given her consent to be present as chief guest in the opening ceremony,” said Reza.
