Warm-up matches against top Qatari clubs scrapped
Bangladesh will not get to play against top Qatari clubs as buildup to their World Cup qualifying against Qatar on December 4 owing to the busy schedule of the clubs in domestic league, according to BFF GS Abu Nayeem Shohag on Friday.
However, the BFF spokesman said they were to receive a proposal from the Qatar FA about a set of teams and would choose from those.
Meanwhile, following the positive Covid-19 tests of Manager Amer Khan and physio Fuad Hasan, Bangladesh players were confined in their hotel rooms on Friday and did light stretching inside their rooms.
However, all members of the Bangladesh National Football Team underwent Covid-19 tests and did group gym sessions today.
The match on December 4 will kick off at 7:00pm Qatar time at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha, the Qatar FA confirmed today.
