Siraj performs the CR7 celebration after dismissing Liton
India pacer Mohammad Siraj emulated Portugal football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, after dismissing Bangladesh's stand-in skipper Liton Das in their second of the three-match ODI series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.
Siraj got a ball to move nip back in sharply towards the right-hander, who went for a drive but failed to connect and saw his stumps rattled in the 10th over of the game. Just after getting the prized wicket of Liton, Siraj did the famous Ronaldo celebration -- crossing his arms while his eyes closed. This celebration has been copied by athletes and many others since the former Manchester United forward performed it for the first time in a Premier League game against Everton early in October.
Siraj took both of Bangladesh's wickets so far. The right-arm quick also dismissed opener Anamul Haque Bijoy in his very first over.
After 11 overs, Bangladesh are 47 for the loss of two wickets.
The Tigers lead the series 1-0.
