On July 14, SHOUT completed six years of putting out top-notch features, stories, fiction, artwork, photography and more. If I may use some bits of my engineering degree to use, that’s over 300 issues (we published two weekly issues back in the day!). Over this time, we dropped glossy pages for more pages of newsprint, partnered up with multiple organisations and institutes to give our readers a platform, received hundreds—nay, hundreds of thousands—of emails, and published quite surely over a million words of definitive Bangladeshi youth content.
Youth—that’s where our allegiance lies. And the term does not define a certain range of human age. It is but a state of mind. At SHOUT, we hear from children who have just started school and discovered creativity on our pages; at SHOUT, we publish pathfinders and pioneers whose stories inspire souls around the world.
And so, moving on to new days and new issues, we at SHOUT would like to thank our readers, partners and well-wishers for their wholehearted love and support. Let’s raise the voice that matters—let’s be heard.
