The Department of Social Relations of East West University (EWU) organised a seminar on “Dengue Situation and Prevention in Bangladesh” on September 18, 2019 at the S. M. Nousher Ali Lecture Gallery, EWU campus, Aftabnagar, Dhaka.
Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Adviser of EWU and former Governor of Bangladesh Bank graced the occasion as chief guest. Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury, Member, Board of Trustees, EWU conducted the seminar as programme chair. Among others who spoke on the occasion were Prof. Dr. Md. Mobarak Hossain Khan, Chairperson, Department of Social Relations, EWU; Prof. Dr. Kabirul Bashar, Department of Zoology, Jahangirnagar University; and Sazid Ibna Zaman, Researcher. They presented their insightful research findings and opinion about the prevalence of dengue fever and its mitigation measures. A large number of students and faculty members were present at the seminar.
