Kuwait thrash Pakistan 4-0 in SAFF Championships

Pakistan were handed consecutive 4-0 thrashings following their loss against Kuwait in the SAFF Championships 2023 at the Sri Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium in India on Saturday.

After being beaten 4-0 by India in their opening fixture, 195-ranked Pakistan suffered the same fate against 143-ranked Kuwait, courtesy of a brace from Mubarak Al Faneni, and one each from Hasan Al Enezi and Eid Naser Al Rashedi.

The loss left Pakistan at the bottom of Group A standings after two games with zero points and a goal difference of -8. Their final fixture is against Nepal on Tuesday.
