Blood-stained jeans found at suspect's office
Rapid Action Battalion members Wednesday recovered blood-stained trousers from the office of Ajmeri Osman, son of Jatiya Party lawmaker Nasim Osman, in connection with the Toki murder case in Narayanganj.
Law enforcers nabbed Ajmeri's drivers Jamsher Hossain and Shipon; and a security guard Shukur Ali of 'Winner Fashion' on Allama Iqbal road of the city for interrogation around noon, reports our correspondent in Narayanganj quoting Lt Col Jahangir Alam, commander of Rab-11.
The Rab men also recovered some blood-stained nylon ropes, sticks, close circuit television cameras, LCD monitors, bullet-hit showcase and sofa, and a damaged pistol from the office, Jahangir said.
Tanvir Mohammad Toki, a son of Narayanganj Gonojagoron Mancha organiser Rafiur Rabbi, was found dead on the banks of the Shitalakkhya River in Narayanganj on March 8, two days after he went missing.
Responding to Rabbi's allegation that his son was killed in the office, Rab conducted the raid as part of the investigation into the murder case and made the recovery, the Rab official said.
