Rajshahi rally: BNP men arriving by train amid transport strike
BNP leaders and activists continue to arrive in Rajshahi city by train to join the party's divisional rally tomorrow amid a transport strike.
Upon their arrival at the Rajshahi Railway Station, many BNP men gathered outside the platform and marched towards the rally venue.
A number of BNP activists said they faced questions from policemen on their way to Rajshahi.
Ashim Kumar Talukder, general manager of Bangladesh Railway's West Zone in Rajshahi, said the number of passengers in trains today was as usual.
No bus has left Rajshahi since yesterday morning with the transport strike entering its second day today.
