Former staff member of The Daily Star Soleyman Hossain passes away

Md Soleyman Hossain, a former staff member of The Daily Star, passed away at his home in Savar early today.

He was 49.

He suffered a stroke around 12:30am. Doctors of Enam Medical College and Hospital declared him dead around 12:45am, family sources said.

He left behind a wife, a son and a daughter.

Soleyman was buried in a graveyard at Savar after a namaaz-e-janaza today.

Soleyman, former shift in-charge of compose and page make-up, worked at The Daily Star from 1992 to 2020.

Soleyman Hossain's family, friends and colleagues are deeply saddened to learn the news of his demise and urge all to pray for the salvation and eternal peace of the departed soul.
