Tk 11cr heist: DB conducting raids in Sylhet

The detective branch of police today claimed "positive development" into the investigation of much-talked-about Tk 11.25 crore heist case, saying they were conducting raids in Sylhet to arrest the gang members and recover money.

"Our team is working in Sylhet. Hopefully, we would be able to give some good news soon," Detective Branch chief Harun Or Rashid told The Daily Star.

Earlier, the robbery case was transferred to detective branch (DB) of police from Turag Police Station.

The robbery took place in Turag area around 7:15am on Thursday when officials of Money Plant Link Private Ltd, the firm assigned for transporting the money to DBBL ATMs, were heading towards Savar EPZ in a microbus from Mirpur DOHS, with Tk 11.25 crore in four trunks.
