Chanpa's elder brother Hasibul Islam filed a rape and murder case with Faridpur Kotwali police station the same day, accusing their neighbour Salam Matabbar and five others.
In the case statement, the complainant stated that Salam and his accomplices used to tease Chanpa on her way to and from the school and they were involved in the rape and murder.
Sub-Inspector Shohel Rana at Kotwali police station said eleven family members, including the complainant of the Zakia Akter Chanpa murder and rape case were admitted to Faridpur General Hospital after the attack.

“I could not arrest the rest four accused, including main culprit Shamim Mondol, as they went into hiding,†he said.
Meanwhile, the fresh autopsy report on Chanpa saw "possibility of sexual intercourse before her death".
Earlier, the autopsy report, submitted to the court a week ago, said that no signs of rape and murder were found in Chanpa's body. She committed suicide, the report said.
In the inquest report, Sub-Inspector Kamruzzaman of the police station had said that signs of rape were found on Chanpa's body.
As the complainant submitted a petition rejecting the autopsy report, the court issued an order to exhume the body for fresh post-mortem examination.
As per the order, Chanpa's body was exhumed around three weeks ago in the presence of executive magistrate Shahidul Islam. Later the viscera were sent to Mohakhali for fresh autopsy.
