Indo-Bangla Games briefs

The first Twenty20 cricket match of the Indo-Bangladesh Bangla Games between hosts BCB Academy and West Bengal Under-22 team of India will be held on February 23 at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
The 2nd Indo-Bangladesh Bangla Games involving teams of Bangladesh and West Bengal will begin February 22 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
The 2nd game of the three-match series will be held on February 24 at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium while the last match on February 26 at the Fatullah Stadium.
Meanwhile, former national shooter and BOA member Kazi Shahana Parveen has been made the local women's team manager for the five-day Games.
Earlier, BOA deputy secretary general and ex-international footballer Ashrafuddin Ahmed Chunnu was named as Chef-de-Mission while BOA member Anisur Rahman Dipu the general team manager.
About 231 home athletes will compete the 234-member team from West Bengal in nine disciplines: athletics, swimming, shooting, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, kho kho, football and cricket.
