Bangladesh envoy to Libya presents credentials

ABM Nur Uz Zaman, newly appointed Bangladesh ambassador to Libya, presented his credentials to the Secretary of the People's Congress (President of the Parliament) of Libya Mohamed Belqasem Zuwei on Sunday.
The ceremony took place at the foreign affairs office of the General People's Congress, says a foreign ministry press release.
Brief statements on bilateral relations were expressed from both sides after presentation of the Letter of Credence.
Reiterating firm commitment of Bangladesh to foster relationship with Libya, the ambassador expressed Bangladesh's keenness to continue participating in the development process of Libya.
The ambassador also underscored the need for wider cooperation in different areas for mutual benefit of the two countries.
In reply, the secretary appreciated active participation of the Bangladeshi people in the development activities of Libya and expressed eagerness to continue working with Bangladesh.
