Shooting of ‘Bokulpur’ stopped due to excessive rain
Filming for Deepto TV's popular serial "Bokulpur" was stopped due to excessive rain in Manikganj yesterday.
The outdoor shooting was cancelled, and the team, along with director Kaiser Ahmed, had to come back to Dhaka.
Kaiser Ahmed confirmed the news to The Daily Star yesterday.
"We started the shooting with such excitement and we shot some scenes as well. However, we could not shoot one scene due to excessive rain," he mentioned.
The director also added that he had done massive arrangements for yesterday's and today's shooting.
"We had arranged a pandal, along with a Jatra mancho for a sequence. We are supposed to air the serial on January 1. However, due to excessive rain, our shooting got hampered," added the director.
"Bokulpur" stars Sujata, Azizul Hakim, Anisur Rahman Milan, Nadia Ahmed, and Tahmina Sultana Mou among others.
"Bokulpur", now titled "Bokulpur Returns", is set to air on Deepto TV from January 1. Filming of the hit series was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic
