Stalker jailed

A mobile court yesterday sentenced a college student to one month imprisonment on charge of stalking a college girl in Habiganj’s Bahubal upazila for long.

The convict, Russell Ahmed Shaon, 20, an intermediate student, is son of Abdul Hai of Nandanpur village in the upazila.

Following a complaint by the victim’s family, police arrested Russell and produced him before a court that handed down the verdict.
