Septuagenarian dengue patient dies in Khulna

A Septuagenarian man, who was diagnosed with dengue fever, dies at a private hospital in Khulna.

A Septuagenarian man, who was diagnosed with dengue fever, died at a private hospital in Khulna early today.

Deceased Md Ibrahim, 77, a resident of Brammogati village of Digholia upazila of the city, breathed his last at City Medical College Hospital around 1:00am.

He was diagnosed as dengue patient at Intensive Care Unit of the hospital, said the victim’s son Ibnul Hasan Minar. Earlier, he was admitted to Khulna Islami Bank Hospital.

According to Khulna Civil Surgeon Office, a total of 23 dengue patients died in Khulna this year.
