Man killed over land feud
A man was killed and six others were injured in a clash between two rival groups in Delduar upazila yesterday.
The deceased was Badal Miah, 45, of Teriaghona village.
There was a longstanding dispute among five sons of Monir over irrigation by a shallow machine set up by their father, said police. As a sequel to the conflict, the five brothers and their supporters locked in a clash, leaving seven people, including one of the brouthers Badal.
Seriously injured Badal died at a hospital.
