Dhaka student found dead in Jamalpur

Railway police early yesterday found body of a youth beside rail tracks between Jamalpur and Mymensingh in Nandina Madhyapara area of Sadar upazila.

The youth was identified as Ehsan Ibne Reza Fagun, 21, son of Kakon Reza, Sherpur correspondent of private TV channel ntv.

He was a first-year student of Tourism and Hotel Management at Titumir College in Dhaka.

Being informed by locals, police went to the spot and sent the body to Jamalpur General Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Taposh Chandra Pandit, officer-in-charge (OC) of Jamalpur Railway Police Station. “Reason behind the death will be known after receiving the autopsy report.”

Quoting family members, the OC said Fagun was supposed to arrive in his home in Sherpur from Dhaka on Tuesday. But they could not confirm whether he was travelling by bus or train.
