100 workers fall sick at Gazipur RMG factory

At least 100 workers of a readymade garment factory fell sick for unknown reason at Jarun in Konabari area of Gazipur area on Saturday.
Workers at the Keya Knit Composite Factory said a number of them started falling sick for an unknown reason shortly after joining works in the morning.
Witnesses said some of the workers complained of dizziness and stomachache and started vomiting.
Later, most of them became unconscious at one stage.
The sick workers were taken to several local hospitals while some of them were shifted to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital.
