The incident sparked a wave of outrage from all quarters and protests have been waging at Dhaka University demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.
Today, Eunus Ali Akond moved the High Court with the writ petitions seeking its order on the government to arrest the culprits and form a judicial probe into the incident.
He also urged the court to order the government to form a special tribunal to try and punish the perpetrators who carried out the assault on women at Dhaka University.
