Syedah Khanam passes away
Syedah Neshat Ara Khanam, a writer and literary figure of the 1970s and '80s, passed away on April14 at the age of 63.
She died due to a cardiac arrest while taking treatment in a hospital in the capital.
Syedah was the former head of the Bangla department at the University of Women's Federation College (UWFC), Dhaka. She scripted and anchored numerous programmes for Bangladesh Betar.
Syedah left behind her husband and two daughters.
Following two namaj-e-janazas, she was buried at Azimpur graveyard.
