Inter-university programming contest held at NSU
North South University (NSU) and North South University ACM-W Student Chapter jointly held Inter-University Women’s Programming Competition (Season 2) at NSU on July 19, says a press release.
Numerous students from different universities registered to participate in it. After primary selection, 240 contestants from 80 teams from all over the country participated in the finale held at the university.
Students from 41 universities participated in the event.
The champion team was from Jahangirnagar University while first runner-up from Daffodil International University and the second runner-up from Chittagong University.
Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar, as chief guest, handed over prizes to the winners during the closing ceremony of the competition.
NSU Vice Chancellor Prof Atiqul Islam and pro-VC Prof GU Ahsan were present as special guests.
Among others, directors of different departments, deans of different faculties, heads of departments, faculty adviser of North South University ACM-W Student Chapter, and renowned academics were present on the occasion.
