DU entry test: 13 students get 2-yr jail for using electronic device

A mobile court today sentenced 13 students to two years’ imprisonment for using electronic devices illegally during Dhaka University’s ‘Ka’ unit admission test.
Of them, 12 students were sentenced for using mobile phones while one sentenced for using another electronic device illegally during the tests at different centres in the capital, DU Proctor Amjad Ali told reporters.

The one and half an hour long examinations were held at different centres in Dhaka from 10:00am today.
