PM reaches Abu Dhabi
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reached Abu Dhabi yesterday on her way to New York to attend the 74th UN General Assembly.
A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines that departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3:35pm touched down at Abu Dhabi International Airport, UAE, at 6:15pm (local time).
Mohammad Imran, Bangladesh ambassador to the UAE, welcomed her at the airport.
The PM will depart from Abu Dhabi International Airport for John F Kennedy International Airport at 10:30am (local time) tomorrow by a flight of Etihad Airways. Ambassador Imran will see her off at the airport.
She is scheduled to reach John F Kennedy International Airport at 4:25pm (local time).
Mohammad Ziauddin, Bangladesh ambassador to the USA, and Masud Bin Momen, ambassador and permanent representative of Bangladesh to the UN, will welcome her there.
At the UNGA, Hasina may place new proposals to find a solution to the Rohingya crisis.
