Badrul Anam Saud's upcoming film, “Gohin Baluchor”, was launched in the presence of the press and select guests on December 17 at the capital's Palm View restaurant. The film will feature some new and fresh faces in the industry, alongside veteran and senior actors. Director Badrul Anam Saud introduced his cast at the press conference, with the main characters portrayed by young actors Tanvir, Moon and Nilanjona Neela. The film will also feature seasoned actors such as Raisul Islam Asad, Suborna Mustafa, Shahadat Hossain and Bannya Mirza.
At the event, Suborna Mustafa and Shahadat Hossain spoke about the build up to the film, as Suborna will be returning to the silver screen after a long break. She will play the role of an inhabitant of a char area, a leader of a village. On the film, she said, “'Gohin Baluchor' has a powerful story and I am really pleased with my role. It is a great opportunity for an actor.” Director Badrul Anam Saud spoke about his first film project. About the film, he said, “This is a romantic film of people living in the riverine char area.”
Cast, crew, well wishers and friends, including Animesh Aich, Ashna Habib Bhabna, Momo, Tropa Majumder, Tariq Anam Khan and Neema Rahman were present at the press conference.
The film's set will be designed by Uttam Guha while Wahida Mollick Jolly will be in charge of costumes. Emon Shaha is directing music and Naziba Basher will be in charge of dance choreography. Komol Chandra Das will be behind the camera as cinematographer.
The film is supported by Friends Movies International and Shaatkahon productions.
