Misha Sawdagar and Zayed Khan at odds with 18 organisations
Due to various allegations, Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samity President Misha Sawdagar and General Secretary Zayed Khan were boycotted by 18 organisations last month. The organisations held a meeting yesterday, where they came to decision to send a written application to BFDC's MD -- to strengthen the ban on Misha Sawdagar and bar Zayed Khan from entering its premises altogether.
Bangladesh Film Producers' Association President Khorshed Alam Khosru told The Daily Star that the actions are in the basis of Misha Sawdagor's irresponsibility, going to the USA before clearing previous allegations, and Zayed Khan's anti-interest activities against artistes that could result in confrontation if he enters the BFDC premises.
"BFDC is a KPI zone, so such decision has to come from the Ministry," says Zayed Khan, who also commented that other organisations have no business in what goes on between the artistes and management of Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samity.
Misha Sawdagor and Zayed Khan were previously condemned for actions such as misuse of power and creating rifts between artistes. De-listed artistes from Cholochitro Shilpi Samity had formed a human chain in protest of their actions in front of BFDC recently.
