Showcasing Bangladesh at the 11th INAC Expo
Bangladesh High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of Bangladesh participated at the 11th International Arts and Crafts (INAC) Expo, organised by the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) of Nigeria recently.
Bangladesh High Commission put up a beautiful pavilion, which was colourfully decorated with traditional handicrafts and artifacts. Visited by hundreds of people each day, the pavilion also carried images of the history, culture, heritage and development of Bangladesh.
The High Commission also organised a special event titled, 'Bangladesh Day' to showcase Bangladesh's rich culture and traditions. While paying tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Md Shameem Ahsan, NDC, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Nigeria, highlighted the achievements Bangladesh made under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Spectacular performances by dancers from Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy mesmerised everyone at the event.
