Bhabna touches new grounds
One of the most popular faces in the worlds of Bangladeshi television and filmdom, ambitious actress Bhabna is reinventing herself. The artiste is trying her hand at storytelling, and has written a narrative titled “Abortion” which is set to be adapted into a short film by the same name scripted and directed by Animesh Aich.
With Bhabna in the shoes of the protagonist, filming is currently on hold as the team scouts for a young child actor of about five years old. Shooting is slated to take place around various locations in the capital.
“I am currently preparing for my role,” said Bhabna, “I often have these ideas for new stories which I mull over quite a lot, and the concept of this short film has been on my mind for some time.”
Meanwhile, the busy actress has wrapped up filming for two single episode plays. She appears alongside Shajal in “Bhalobashar Shimantey”, and plays a traffic police in a yet untitled play.
