Samsung Galaxy Note10+ is now made in Bangladesh
South Korean tech giant Samsung recently started manufacturing its flagship Galaxy Note10+ phone in its local plant in Narsingdi, Bangladesh.
The 58,000 square feet state-of-the-art manufacturing plant has so far produced 20 lakh units of 4G-enabled smartphones, consisting of some 25 models of Samsung handsets.
Fair Electronics, Samsung local partner, said the first batch of locally assembled Note10+ was delivered to the market in the first week of January. Adding all 1,500 units in the first batch has already been sold out.
The locally manufactured units are significantly more affordable, being Tk 31,300 cheaper than their imported counterparts.
