New cars this week
The newly facelifted Jaguar F-Type shows the car has truly matured into a fine example of UK culture. It has abandoned its youthful front facia and adopted the iconic British face of mild bemusement. Through its new narrow headlights and front grill, it will silently judge your spending habits and will break down occasionally when it becomes a bit cross. But you will put up with all of that, because of the sheer joy it will provide to you when you are tearing through a canyon.
The "cheapest car in the market" finally received an update and it got better. Mitsubishi has actually listened to user complaints and the new Mirage addresses many of the issues found in its predecessor. It has basic equipment such as 15-inch alloy wheels, 6.5-inch touchscreen, a back-up camera and a rear seat that does not remind you of prison transport. While the engine remains the same, don't expect anything more than decent gas mileage.
