Editor's Note
Being familiar is a sure fire way to a slow agonising death. Doing the same Uber shuffle, eating the same cup of watery, sugary Nescafe and scrolling through the endless Facebook feed of ‘look what I just bought’. You can’t grow if you’re not a little uncomfortable.
Growing comes with pains—if you don’t have a lot to do and you can afford to sit around and watch plants grow, you’d be hearing the tiny groans and squawks as your money plant inches its way up balcony grill. However, growing pains are worth it because at the end of the rainbow, you can get a pot of fertiliser.
This week we bring you options to learn new things—if you haven’t realised it, you learn more now that you’re online (if you’re a child, show this to your parents). There’s a bunch of things to learn on YouTube, but if you want more specific and curated topics, we bring you a roundup of the best e-learning platforms you can find out there on the interwebs.
We also teach you how to identify fake news, and rant about how it can be used to control you. Because what’s learning without knowing how to avoid those pesky wrong turns?
There’s also a bit about how you can follow your passion and turn it into a career—if you’re a car geek, that is.
It’s going to be uncomfortable because you may second guess your current existence. If growing hurts so much, try our lo-fi playlist, right at the end.
