10-day Butthan workshop held at Panchagarh
A ten-day long Butthan Martial art training program for women's empowerment through self-defense was conducted under the 'KONNARATNA Program' organized jointly by Panchagarh District Administration and Satyapon beyond Life Foundation yesterday.
The training program concluded at Kazi Shahabuddin college field, Tetulia. With the technical Support provided by Bangladesh Butthan Federation, A total 500 school-going girls of Panchagarh District received training.
The workshop was inaugurated by Rail Minister, Advocate Md. Nurul Islam Sujon, MP earlier.
Butthan is a system of self-defense and personal development with South Asian heritage. Butthan is also a combat sports being practiced in different parts of the world under International Butthan Federation, USA. Butthan got affiliated as a form of combat sports by National Sports Council (NSC), Ministry of Youth and Sports, Bangladesh in 2013.
