Pink City celebrates 52nd Independence Day

The residents of Pink City celebrated Independence Day in a befitting manner by distributing Independence Day sports carnival prizes to 100 kids and adults.

Former Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team, Akram Khan, gave away the prizes to winners of multi sports competition. The sports carnival was sponsored by Ispahani Group.

A lively discussion on 71 war of liberation was moderated by the President of Pink City, Rizwan Bin Farouq. The discussant present were noted freedom fighters Shahidulla Khan Badal, Dr. Naila Zaman Khan and Dr. Nizami. They talked about their real-life experience during the war of liberation, which was well attended by the resident of Pink City.

Earlier, national flag was hoisted by the freedom fighters and residents of Pink City with the national anthem.
