Suarez booked for sneak peek during VAR review
Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez was booked for sneaking a look over the referee's shoulder while he was reviewing a VAR decision on the pitch-side monitor.
Atletico were leading Lokomotiv Moscow 1-0 when VAR awarded the Russian side a penalty after midfielder Hector Herrera was adjudged to have handled in the area.
As Referee Benoit Bastien went to review the decision on the pitch-side monitor, Suarez followed and cheekily looked over the official's shoulder.
The linesman rushed over to move the striker out of the way but he was quickly shown a yellow card by the referee for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
The official stuck with VAR's decision to award a penalty, which was converted by Anton Miranchuk.
Atletico were unable to reclaim the lead after Lokomotiv's equaliser, which leaves them joint second in Group A, behind Red Bull Salzburg on goal difference.
No stranger to controversy, he was banned three times for biting opponents.
