Sabina not allowing virus get in the way of her training
Bangladesh women's team captain Sabina Khatun was not letting the coronavirus pandemic get in the way of her training as she was seen working on her game in a video she posted on Facebook.
Sporting activities worldwide have come to a halt following the pandemic and it was no different for Bangladesh as the government gave directives to postpone all sports activities.
The footballer put up cones in a corridor at her home and practiced her dribbling skills with both inside and outside the foot touches. She also did stretches and other fitness related exercises so as to prepare herself for when football once again rolls back onto the field.
She also had a message for her followers where she told everyone to remain safe and be at home during this coronavirus outbreak. "Stay strong. Stay safe. Stay home. Maintain your fitness," she wrote in the caption to the video.
Much like all other athletes in the country, Sabina has been confined to her home after the Tricotex Women's Football League was suspended on March 16 in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
